    Our busy firm is looking for an experienced and professional legal assistant/junior paralegal to provide critical support to our team. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and overall, a reliable team player. Responsibilities: • Adhere closely to the firm's policies and procedures • Communicate with clients and manage client expectations • Calendar and maintain deadlines • Draft legal documents and correspondence • Collaborate with the medical records department to ensure timely receipt of records • Schedule meetings, hearings, depositions, and mediations, including coordination with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and service providers • Conduct research and background investigations • Prepare Ch. 74 notice letters • Prepare materials for deposition, mediation, and trial • Maintain thorough documentation • Demonstrate meticulous document and file management • Process case expenses promptly Qualifications: • Associate's degree or paralegal certification required; Bachelor's degree preferred; • Three years recent experience as a legal assistant/secretary or paralegal OR five years recent experience in a law firm setting required, preferably in personal injury; • OR equivalent combination of training, experience, and education above • Bilingualism is strongly preferred • Exceptional time management and ability to think critically • Technical proficiency and comfortability with legal software • Verifiable references are required • This is a full-time, in-office position Compensation: $46,500 - $50,000 yearly
