Customer Contact Specialist
Job Summary
The Customer Contact Specialist's role is to educate customers on broadband services and discuss fiber placement and connection processes with owners of residential homes and small businesses. This role will be required to take detailed field records of the fiber placement plan and relay information to our Outside Plant Department.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Route and determine fiber placement
- Reviewing permits and ROW
- Professional Communication and Customer Service
- Recording and relaying field record
- In person face-to face interaction with home or business owner
- Work is performed in an outside environment
- Travel
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid US Driver's license, clean driving record
- Ability to read and understand maps, drawings, and diagrams for fiber construction
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Must be able to sit for periods of time and be able to perform physical activities such as bending, standing, climbing, and walking in construction areas in excess of 10 hours a day.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to communicate subject matter details.
- Understand and operate technology and applications such as Microsoft Office 360, Smartsheet, and various devise applications.
