    Please do not apply if you are not bi-lingual - Fluent in English and Spanish Established Pain Management group looking for a Full Time, Patient Coordinator in our Personal Injury Department. We typically call this role a Personal Injury Assistant. Successful candidates will be responsible for handling all personal injury calls from inception to settlement. This position entails extensive contact with patients, attorneys, and medical providers. Must be able to gather, analyze and research information and documents and manage caseload. Must be able to multitask, prioritize and demonstrate attention to detail. Excellent organizational, written and communication skills are essential. Must be a team player and able function in a fast-paced, high volume work environment.

    Responsibilities

    Answering heavily phone volume calls and intake of patient information

    Scheduling appointments for both in-office and procedures

    Coordinating outgoing referrals to other service providers

    Resolving pharmacy enquiries

    Process medical records request

    Consistently follow-up with patient and attorney’s office to coordinate care

    Monitor’s patient case to ensure appointments are scheduled regularly

    Follow up and obtain relevant documents and information related to treatment

    Maintain and organize exhibits, documents and medical records chronologically in a presentable manner

    Submitting of claims, ledgers and balance requests.

    Review of patient files to ensure all legal documents are obtained and signed.

    Compensation

    Monday - Friday, some weekends or evenings may be required.
