    I. JOB SUMMARY

    This is a full-time on-site role for a vendor negotiations and operations manager, headquartered in Lawrenceville, GA. The Vendor Negotiations & Operations Manager (VROM) will be responsible for maintaining relationships with ARA members and vendor partners, identifying opportunities for growth, negotiating contracts, and coordinating ARA events.

    II. RESPONSIBLITIES

    a. Identify and prospect for potential vendors innate to the c-store industry

    b. Coordinate and manage vendor meetings in conjunction with the Vendor Relations Committee

    c. Negotiate contracts, agreements, and terms of engagement with vendors.

    d. Summarize the terms of the vendor’s proposal and draft the Customer Merchandising Agreement,

    e. Coordinate and follow-up on the e-signing of all requisite program documents (CMA and NDA) by Vendor and Internal Leadership.

    f. Communicate program terms and conditions with all internal and external stakeholders.

    g. Coordinate and participate in all business reviews.

    h. Collaborate with various internal teams such as Territory Development Managers (TDM), Finance, and Legal, to gather information, align on requirements, to ensure contract compliance and execution of all applicable promotional platforms.

    i. Review weekly vendor performance (scorecard) and proactively identify and discuss correction opportunities with vendor

    j. Work in tandem with Field Operations to conduct site visits (compliance & intel gathering)

    k. Review and screen inbound candidates and coordinate interviews in conjunction with the Chief Operating Officer l. Additional responsibilities as assigned

    a. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

    b. Ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities

    c. Experience negotiating and managing contracts (contract lifecycle)

    d. Experience planning and coordinating events

    e. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

    f. Attention to detail and excellent organization skills

    g. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred

    h. Experience in the convenience store industry is required

    i. Experience in beverage industry is a plus
