    Job Description

    Vericast is looking for their next Vice President of Digital Product Sales! As VP of Digital Product Sales you will be responsible for developing and driving the sales business strategies of identified products and overall new digital business to drive revenue and increase market share through innovation, business development, customer focus and relationships. The VP of Digital Product Sales team will pursue opportunities through organic growth, new business opportunities and through an effective partnership/sales strategy with the Shared Mail Team to sell multi-channel campaigns to meet our clients needs. The VP will ensure implementation and execution of sales strategies and develop a strong sales team capable of executing the business objectives.

    ** Key Responsibilities** :

    • Manage the team to meet and exceed the assigned revenue targets
      • Manage the successful execution of the sales plans, meeting objectives, goals, benchmarks and defined metrics
    • Develop annual strategic business plans to drive revenue and new business creation
    • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies
    • Measure and evaluate strategic implementation against intended results. Responsible for results attained through effective execution against business development and business performance goals
    • Focus sales teams on the development and retention of top clients to increase revenue, product integration and ROI
      • Develop strategies and relationships with the Shared Mail team to effectively sell as One Vericast to clients
    • Cultivate top to top relationships with key clients, decision makers and prospects to further company goals, negotiate key strategic issues and build the business
    • Collect and analyze vertical market research, customer research and competitive analysis
    • Create and develop executable programs, materials and processes that are driven by market and business insights
    • Provide accurate forecasts and business updates
    • Hire, retain, coach, lead and develop direct reports
      • Effectively and timely performance manage associates not meeting assigned objectives or competencies
    • Ensure optimal organizational structure to achieve marketing and branding objectives and manage labor efficiencies
    • Technical skills: Ensure the sales team is provided training to remain current on industry/vertical trends, best practices, client relationship management and business development
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ** Education & Knowledge** :

    • Bachelor’s degree preferably in the fields of Business, Marketing, or Communications; or equivalent combination of education and experience

    ** Experience / Skills and Competencies:**

    • 15+ years successful sales experience and displays proficiency in:
      • Industry: Marketing, Media, Advertising
      • New business development
      • Digital products
      • Selling multiple / integrated products
      • Setting Strategy
    • 8+ years leadership experience
    • 8+ years Digital media/product experience
    • Utilize quantitative and qualitative analysis to analyze, synthesize large sets of data and information to formulate and validate recommendations to make clear business decisions
    • Experience in forecasting and sales reporting
    • Expert market and industry knowledge
    • Expert in producing sales results including lead generation, solution selling and closing sales
    • Exhibit expert skills in: selling with data and insights, story telling / creating a compelling vision or story, presentation delivery and negotiating
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
    • Strong influencer on key decision makers
    • Emotional (EQ) and Cognitive (IQ) Intelligence; ability to read those around you and appropriately respond intellectually and emotionally
    • Exhibit successful leadership skills and has led highly successful sales teams
    • Adapt to change; including the market, products and internal company initiatives
    • Organized, detail-oriented and thorough approach to all responsibilities
    • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office
    • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, integrity
    • Consistent track record of success in achieving and exceeding annual quota and business objectives
    • Exude credibility (product knowledge and professionalism)
    • Develops trust easily
    • Lead by example

    Travel required in and outside of the country. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

    Additional Information

    Base Salary Range: $180,000 - $210,000

    Position is eligible for a sales incentive/commission program

    The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
