ABOUT THE HIGHJUMP TECHNICAL ARCHITECT POSITION:

Veridian is in search of an experienced Technical Architect, focused on implementation of the HighJump Warehouse Advantage (WA) Software Suite.

The job responsibilities include owning the design, technical configuration and integration of HighJump WA using SQL Server, Advantage Architect, Advantage Link, Page Editor, and related tools. Your responsibilities may also include developing project documentation, testing of the application and training duties as needed.

Candidates may be located anywhere in the United States and must be capable of working remotely and occasionally traveling to client sites in the United States. Opportunities may also exist for travel outside of the United States, including Canada, Europe, and Asia. Historically, our consultants travel approximately 30-40% of the time, but travel may range anywhere from 0-100%.

LOCATION

• Remote; may reside anywhere in the contiguous United States.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Lead and mentor other consultants/developers as part of the larger configuration/development phase in implementation projects 
• Participate in functional & technical discussions with the client, including integrating WA with MHE and ERP systems
• Perform analysis and consultation to identify business issues and solution requirements
• Convert business requirements into technical design documents using tools such as Microsoft Visio, Word, and Excel.
• Design processes using industry best practices, matching both the needs of the client, and HighJump architecture standards
• Configure the solution using HighJump tools (Advantage Architect, WebWise Page Editor, etc.)
• Aid in preparing & analyzing project documentation
• Write, read and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, views and functions.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors or advanced Degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or similar strongly preferred

• 5+ years HighJump Warehouse Advantage Consulting/Development/Configuration/Set-up experience

• 5+ years experience with HighJump Platform, Warehouse Advantage, Advantage Architect, WebWise

• 5+ years of MS SQL Server and understand complex queries, stored procedures, functions and database objects

• Strong written & verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate within all levels of a customer's organization

• Proven ability to write and maintain system documentation and user instructions

• Strong problem solving, cross-functional analysis and forward-thinking abilities

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• System administration knowledge
• Expertise with interface technologies including TCP/IP Sockets, XML, Table to Table, etc.
• Knowledge of barcode scanning equipment and RF hardware

TRAVEL

• Travel for this role will vary based on project requirements, typically between 30% and 40%
