Job Description

• Prepare products for regulators and internal & external customers in a timely and accurate manner.  Products may include loss cost reviews, filings, circulars, annual statistical filings, and customized data products to meet customer needs.
• Writing and running computer programs to extract data for review and report compilation.
• Develop more efficient, automated ways to improve processing including data quality and error detection processes.  This can include providing suggestions for improvements in ratemaking and data quality review procedures.
• Create documentation/user guides.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience required.
• One-year property/casualty insurance background desired.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills required.
• Good oral and written communication skills required.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving and follow-up skills, and the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Be a team player, quick learner, self-motivated with good problem-solving, critical thinking skills and work ethic.  Effective interpersonal and listening skills, telephone etiquette, good oral and written communication skills, proofreading skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under time constraints, multi-task, and adjust plans in the face of changing priorities.
• Motivated to enhance and improve processes.
• Continued desire and ability to learn.
• Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
