With the tremendous opportunity for growth, the role of Human Resource Generalist is paramount to successfully executing this objective and meeting the needs of our staff.

    VersaTech is seeking an HR Generalist with a strong hands-on desire to embrace technology and effectively prioritize people by serving, developing, and engaging our most valuable corporate resource, our employees.

     Goals of this role are to:

    • Provide integral support to the day-to-day operations of the HR function and duties.
    • Exemplify and deploy cohesive communication to diverse employees in multiple locations and among corporate departments.
    • Work with the HR Manager, Managers, and Talent Acquisition partners on the recruitment and transition of new employees into the company.
    • Work closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for each position, and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations
    • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles helping management find, hire, and retain quality talent
    • Grow and foster high-touch relationships with a database of qualified active and passive talent to pull from as new positions open up
    • Stay active with current job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan, create, and release job descriptions and announcements
    • Facilitate employee inquiries about benefits, payroll, and benefits
    • Maintain systems & employee records to help us scale for further anticipated growth
    • Instrumental in providing insightful data and direction to guide decision-making and provide proactive solutions.

    Requirements:

    • Must manage multiple priorities, maintain strict confidentiality
    • 5 years of HR experience, preferably in government contracting.
    • 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience
    • Excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication, follow-up, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills
    • Exceptional customer service skills.
    • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with an attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
