Sr. Accountant [Onsite/ Visa Sponsorship OK]

Our client is a rapidly growing CPG/Nutrition company located in Orange County. Due to growth, they have great need for Talent Acquisitions both in Human Resources/HR and Accounting. This job listing is for Senior Accountant. Summary:

This position will complete various duties for the Accounting Department. The Senior Accountant supports the Accounting Manager/Controller in various accounting functions including.

Responsibilities:

• General Ledger and Month End Closing
• Financial Reporting and Financial Analysis
• Cost Analysis and Inventory Reconciliation
• Handle Bank Reconciliation and Manage Fixed Assets
• Help with Sales & Use Tax and Property Tax filing
• Assist Accounting Manager/Controller with budgeting, Payroll Reconciliation, etc.
• Internal Audit and Coordinate with External Auditors on various auditing needs

Qualifications:

• Bilingual Asian Language preferred [Mandarin/Korean or Vietnamese]
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with 3+ years accounting/bookkeeping experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook)
• Advanced working knowledge of accounting software and EPR System
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good organizational skills with great attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
• Ability to work under pressure and deal with complex issues
• Ability to sit for extended hours
• Ability to view a computer screen and type for extended hours
• Other physical requirements include occasional squatting, bending, and twisting
• Ability to adjust work schedule as business needs require
