    The Financial Analyst - Pricing and Profitability is an integral part of the firm’s Finance & Accounting team and will be responsible for providing financial and analytical support to attorneys for pricing and scoping engagements, while modelling matter profitability and providing scenario analysis to support pricing decisions for firm management.

    Responsibilities

    • Researching and identifying existing/historical firm matters that may provide a baseline for billing attorneys in developing budgets for new matters
    • Maintaining Rate Approvals Tracking database by inputting key approval information; creating analysis and designs reports/presentations to display pricing trends
    • Designing templates to assist attorneys with establishing budgets; monitoring engagements on a regular basis and provides reports to management
    • Liaising with Finance & Accounting Department staff and other administrative departments to ensure that the correct data is being captured and that the appropriate tools are available to provide accurate and timely reporting
    • Analyzing client performance data to identify client opportunities

    Qualifications:

    • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
    • A minimum of two (2) years of related analytical experience in finance or accounting
    • Experience responding to ad-hoc requests, developing analysis, and producing reports
