    Spacesaver is currently recruiting for a Library/Education Vertical Market Sales Manager to join our team. As a Library/Education Vertical Market Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving Spacesaver’s revenue growth and new business development through Area Contractor/Distributor partners. You will partner with the Spacesaver sales team to help achieve overall vertical market sales objectives through the application of market research and insights, the development and mentoring of focused Area Contractors/Distributors, securing product specifications from vertical market end users, applying detailed product and application knowledge, and apply tools to measure market performance.

    A few of the Highlights of this Role Include:

    • Assist in driving business and market growth within targeted sub-segments of vertical through alignment of Spacesaver’s sales channels.
    • Drive key account relationships and provide additional early stage opportunities within these accounts.
    • Support the field sales force as needed with strategies to win key projects.
    • Identify product gaps and opportunities within the higher education market, and strategize with product development and marketing teams to bring new products to market.
    • Propose, plan and attend trade shows.
    • Needs to utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technology to manage customer contacts and projects and is responsible for management and forecasting within focus areas.
    • Represents Spacesaver’s products and services with client meetings, and influencer audience in vertical market.

And, there’s an incentive payout that everyone in the company gets if we reach our yearly sales and operations goals.

    We are looking for candidates who have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field with at least 4-7 years of sales and/or sales leadership experience. It’s important that candidates are highly motivated, self-starters who perform at the highest level of professionalism and integrity. Strong knowledge of Spacesaver’s vertical markets, products offerings, competitive information, and the ability to be successful in a manufacturer-distributor environment. Candidates best suited for this role will have good organizational and time management skills, excellent communication skills both verbal and written, proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, and have a strong customer focus.
