Vesper Hall Evening and/or Weekend Attendant - Event Staff - Part Time
JOB SUMMARY
This role performs duties supporting event rentals and activities in the facility. The position includes assisting the public with inquiries, set-up/take down table arrangements, upholding rules and policies, and cleaning / sanitizing duties. Learn more about Vesper Hall by clicking here.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
__EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
A least 1 year of a public-facing role or position that required customer service is preferred.
Previous event support is helpful we are happy to provide training to individuals that are hardworking with a great attitude!
SKILLS, COMPETENCIES & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Skills in operating electronic items such as DVD player, microphones, and other types of sound systems and equipment. Knowledge of general cleaning procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively and interface with the public. Must be a self-starter and possess the desire and ability to work independently.
Must be able to listen to normal conversation; must be able to walk, move chairs/tables, and use hands and fingers to operate, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; must be able to reach with hands and arms; must be able to have vision sufficient to see close up and have the ability to adjust focus; and, must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and transport it up to 50 feet.
