Pet Headquarters Veterinary Hospital

We are a busy veterinary hospital looking to hire applicants with a zeal for the profession and self-growth in this field. Our ideal candidate must be a reliable person and have reliable transportation, be able to work as a team as a well as work independently, have a positive attitude, and strong communication skills.

Back-end Tech work would consist of but not be limited to:

Holding dogs for blood work, SQ fluids, suture removal, ear flushes, nail trims vaccinations, catheters etc. Running blood and urinalysis in-house. Assisting with surgical procedures. Filling prescriptions and restocking pharmacy. Assistive in x-rays and sending consultations. Administering medications and injections to hospitalizations. Other duties will include cleaning the kennels and keeping the back work area clean and tidy. Restocking and opening shipments. Washing and folding laundry. Must be able to multitask and be assertive. Must be able to lift 30lbs or more. Must be comfortable working around dogs and cats. Preference will be given if one has a sound exposure in the field of veterinary medicine.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour

Weekends as needed
