Key Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians and therapists with examinations, therapies, and rehabilitation treatments.
Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans.
Create and demonstrate home exercise programs for clients, supporting patient recovery.
Manage therapy sessions using advanced modalities like laser therapy, acupuncture, and underwater treadmill.
Perform clinical tasks such as scribing during exams, administering medications, and gathering patient histories.
Monitor equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Support the facility’s operations through equipment sterilization, inventory management, and cleanliness.
Skills and Qualifications
Required Skills:
Licensed or certified veterinary technician with experience in patient care and client communication.
Familiarity with practice management software and excellent computer skills.
Experience or strong interest in canine rehabilitation therapy; certification (CCRP, CCRA) is a plus.
Ability to perform clinical tasks such as blood draws, radiographs, and monitoring vitals.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
