Job Description
** Job duties include, but are not limited to:**
Veterinary Technician duties: Draw blood, place catheters, animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.
Receptionist duties: Maintain the animal hospital reception area, greet and warmly welcome clients and patients, answer questions and triage client concerns, answer calls and emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, check in and check out clients and process payments, offer emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need for our clients, and be comfortable with various medical outcomes.
