Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team, full time, near Middletown, Ohio. We are a busy 2 Vet practice that has been in this location for over 60 years. We have up to date equipment including Cornerstone software, complete Idexx in house lab equipment, digital x-ray and minimal after-hours or emergency work. You will work closely with the entire clinic staff to ensure the health and well-being of all of our pet patients. Responsibilities (include but not limited to)

Interview pet owners to obtain a patient history

Assist Veterinarians during appointments

Take vital signs and acquire blood samples

Assist with surgeries and monitor animals after surgery

Administer medications and provide at-home dosage instructions for clients

Keep accurate patient records

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician

New Graduate, licensed or currently testing

Knowledge of animal care and handling

Excellent communication skills

Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a busy environment

Able to work with a diverse mix of personalities
