In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring product reliability and performance by executing rigorous environmental stress tests on flight hardware. Your technical expertise and keen attention to detail will help drive our commitment to quality and innovation.
* Perform stress screenings including thermal, vibration, and pressure tests on flight hardware in accordance with established procedures.
* Assist with the installation, operation, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance of test equipment, such as vibration tables, thermal chambers, pressure systems, and data acquisition devices.
* Set up test setups, fixtures, and instrumentation as specified by test plans and industry standards.
* Collaborate with test engineers and report daily test activities, results, and any issues to management.
* Process and analyze test data to assist with determining product performance and reliability.
* Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of test machines, equipment, and work areas.
* Safely manage multiple test projects simultaneously while adhering to safety protocols.
* 2-4+ years of environmental test experience or demonstrated competence in vibration, shock, or performance testing.
* Proficiency with data acquisition systems, including data analysis and data processing.
* Familiarity with electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic test equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and reports.
* Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Familiarity with test platforms and software such as National Instruments, Dewesoft, and Arduino (LabVIEW / Test Stand) is preferred.
* Should be proficient in mechanical testing practices.
* Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
* Effective communication skills to facilitate collaboration with team members and report findings.
