    Job Description

    Position Overview

    We are looking for a visionary and strategic leader to join our team as the Vice President, Accounting. In this critical role, reporting directly to the CFO, you will provide technical and operational leadership across accounting functions.

    Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes and reporting. Establish internal auditing processes and coordinates external audits. Use in-depth knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and best practices to develop accounting professionals.

    Responsible for consolidating internal financial statements by segment and supporting the VP of FP&A with internal and external reporting. Act as a critical partner to the Executive and Senior Management teams. Oversee and manage specific accounting personnel as assigned by the CFO.

    Responsible for all cash management functions of the business, including corporate cash, customer cash for rebates, cash flow forecasts and reporting, and interest income. Act as key relationship manager for all lenders; manage all reporting requirements and covenants, including forecasting key metrics.

    Oversee compliance activities as assigned by the CFO and assist with special projects as directed by the Executive Leadership Team. Act as a critical point of contact for Merger & Acquisition activity, including incoming and outgoing due diligence requests.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate financial statement consolidation and reporting, including MD&A for critical stakeholders (Executive Leadership, Investors, and Lenders)
    • Set and manage key financial calendars and execute periodic financial tasks
    • Manage the activities and responsibilities of accounting staff, including financial consolidation, the monthly close process, the general ledger, and tax
    • Responsible for supervision and oversight of audit, financial reporting, quality of close
    • Support M&A diligence activities and integration
    • Direct cash management for both corporate cash balances and customer rebate cash
    • Own and oversee the preparation of the database for incoming due diligence as directed by the CFO
    • Oversee annual valuation process and own key reporting and updates for equity investors and participants
    • Support the VP of FP&A with monthly internal reporting and metrics as needed
    • Own periodic updates for incentive compensation and ensure actual and forecast reserves are sufficient
    • Prepare and report against monthly cash flow forecasts
    • Plan and execute all special projects as assigned by the CFO, including analysis of key value drivers of the Company, benchmarking against key competitors, specific customer analyses, and profitability initiatives
    • Collaborate with CFO and SVP People and Culture regarding office facilities and costs and act as the key point of contact for office leases
    • Collaborate with SVP People and Culture regarding healthcare and retirement plans and costs
    • Assess talent effectively and develop managers into promotable talent
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    What you will bring to the table:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. Master’s Degree preferred.
    • CPA certification required
    • Previous experience in public accounting strongly preferred
    • 10+ years of experience in corporate financial management
    • 8-10 years of experience managing teams
    • Proficient with financial software systems, including NetSuite/OpenAir
    • Proven working knowledge of banking industry rules and regulations
    • Experience in subscription technology or SaaS-based organization preferred
    • Experience with M&A diligence and acquisition integration preferred
    • Ability to lead global teams and manage resources across multiple geographies
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Strong knowledge of MS Office programs, particularly Excel
    • Experience with time management and ERP Systems required
