    Job Description

    Pay Rate: $273,300 to $391,700 per year.

    The Vice President - Controller role is responsible for all operational accounting across Foster Farms. The role leads ~60 team members who support our production facilities, live operations, commodities, logistics, and HQ. The Controller is an integral member of our leadership team, providing key operational and financial reporting and insights as we continue to improve our business every day.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead overall Controllership function for Foster Farms, including all operational cost accounting processes and related reporting
    • Lead controllership/accounting teams to improve, track and manage the company financial budgeting process for operations
    • Lead teams to improve and execute on operational and financial reporting to company leadership
    • Drive continuous improvement to simplify, automate and enhance controllership, accounting and reporting processes
    • Manage and participate in the analysis and interpretation of operating results, preparation of executive reports and analysis of financial effects of various contemplated actions.
    • Work in conjunction with Operations and Sales leadership on strategic company matters, business development initiatives and special projects.
    • Own and manage all company accounting policies and procedures
    • Evaluate and organize controllership/accounting team structure and talent, continuously upgrade through performance management, training and recruiting
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 15+ years of progressive accounting / finance leadership experience
    • CPA preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
    • Poultry or related experience preferred
    • Ability to strategize and solve problems
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills
    • Excellent communication and people skills
    • Managing and improving processes
