Job Description
Your Role: We are seeking an experienced and driven BI Software Sales Director with a strong hunter mindset and a deep interest in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency markets. In this role, you will lead and manage a high-performing sales team focused on driving new business opportunities for our Business Intelligence software solutions. You will be responsible for building and leading a team of greenfield sales executives and guiding your team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Your Focus:
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Account Executives, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear sales goals, KPIs, and performance expectations for the team, and provide regular feedback and coaching to ensure success.
- Develop and implement programs to enhance the team’s skills in prospecting, solution selling, and closing deals.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy focused on acquiring new logos.
- Leverage your hunter mindset to identify and target high-potential accounts, driving the team to proactively seek out new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales engineering teams to align sales strategies with company objectives and market demands.
- Client Engagement & Deal Management:
- Engage with key decision-makers, including C-level executives, data analysts, and industry influencers, to position our BI software as the go-to solution for data analytics.
- Oversee the sales process from lead generation through contract negotiation and closing, ensuring that deals are structured to meet both client needs and company goals.
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients, helping them leverage our BI solutions to gain insights and make data-driven decisions.
Market Intelligence & Thought Leadership:
- Stay informed about the latest technology trends, challenges, and competitor activities.
- Share market insights with the broader organization and contribute to the development of new products, features, and sales tactics.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums, positioning yourself and the company as thought leaders.
Reporting & Performance Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze sales team performance, providing regular reports to senior management on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Use data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and improve team effectiveness, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and revenue growth.
- Manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
