****Position Overview
The Vice President, Clinical Pharmacology & DMPK will be a key member of Neomorph’s development leadership team, responsible for driving integrated preclinical and clinical pharmacology strategies across both internal and partnered programs. This leader will provide scientific and strategic oversight from discovery through clinical development, helping to shape the foundation of Neomorph’s clinical development capabilities as we advance our lead program into the clinic and continue to expand our pipeline.
This role requires a proven leader who can operate effectively across functions, applying deep expertise in preclinical DMPK and clinical pharmacology to influence program direction and decision-making. The VP will work cross-functionally with research, translational sciences, regulatory, and clinical teams to enable seamless advancement of programs across development stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and scientific direction across preclinical DMPK and clinical pharmacology for Neomorph’s internal and partnered programs.
- Design and oversee the execution and interpretation of preclinical and clinical pharmacology studies (e.g., ADME, DDI, PK/PD) to support IND-enabling packages and early clinical trials.
- Lead PK/PD modeling and simulation to inform dose selection and clinical development strategies.
- Partner closely with discovery and translational teams to ensure alignment between research and development efforts and enable smooth transitions from preclinical to clinical stages.
- Guide clinical pharmacology strategy from and study designs for early-phase clinical trials, including first-in-human studies in oncology, to large Phase 3 trials with regulatory filings.
- Contribute to the preparation of regulatory documents and interactions, including INDs and clinical study protocols.
- Manage relationships with external partners, including CROs, consultants, and collaborators, to support execution of DMPK and clinical pharmacology work.
- Support the buildout of Neomorph’s internal capabilities in DMPK and clinical pharmacology as the organization scales.
- Foster a collaborative, science-driven culture consistent with Neomorph’s values and stage of growth.
Required Qualifications
- PhD, PharmD, or MD in pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field, with at least 15 years of relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated leadership in both preclinical DMPK and clinical pharmacology, with a track record of advancing oncology programs from discovery through early clinical development.
- Experience contributing to IND filings and regulatory submissions, including interactions with global health authorities.
- Proven ability to design and lead early-phase clinical pharmacology studies, including first-in-human trials in Oncology and other required pharmacology studies.
- Expertise in ADME, DDI, and PK/PD modeling and simulation, and their application to clinical development decision-making.
- Skilled in managing external CROs, consultants, and academic or industry partners.
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced biotech environment and adaptable to evolving organizational needs.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with targeted protein degradation or other small-molecule drug modalities is a plus.
- Late stage clinical trials and regulatory submissions.
