Job Description
Reporting to the EVP, Entertainment and Studios Group Strategy and Business Development, the Vice President of Strategy will oversee key strategy, innovation, and operational initiatives across Universal Television Entertainment Group (UTEG). This key role requires outstanding communication and presentation skills, with a focus on delivering clear and actionable recommendations derived from both qualitative and quantitative analyses. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders across UTEG and the Media Group, contributing to critical decision-making in a rapidly evolving media landscape.
Essential Responsibilities:
Design and refine key processes across the newly-formed UTEG to optimize efficiency and impact.
Collaborate with UTEG and Media Group Finance to craft narratives and develop supporting materials for Op Reviews, Budget, and LRP.
Act as a key connector between UTEG and Media Group Strategy, Growth, and Decision Sciences teams to facilitate alignment and communication.
Provide organizational and executive support for strategic initiatives and key meetings including offsites and townhalls.
Partner with the Content Strategy and USG Strategy teams to manage key UTEG initiatives, including the quarterly Strategic Slate process.
Assist the Chief Business Officer in developing and executing cross-portfolio initiatives and strategies across the Entertainment and Studios Group.
Represent UTEG in key growth initiatives such as AI and NextGen Audiences.
Mentor junior team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables and the continuous development of team capabilities.
