    Job Description

    The Vice President,Studio and Content Finance Solutions is a key leadership role within the NBCU’s Operations & Technology organization reporting directly to SVP, Enterprise Product, Finance and Source to Pay. This leadership role requires a broad spectrum of technical and business functional skills combined with a passion to have significant impact in helping NBCU drive finance systems transformation, adopt latest SAP technologies, align NBCU’s Product Roadmap with leading EA practices, drive innovation and adoption of AI within the portfolio, help deliver against our enterprise destination architecture strategy and streamline technical operations.

    This leader will be primarily responsible for managing our Studio and Media Finance platforms and products and will be responsible for leading our finance systems modernization for TV Distribution and TV Production to S/4 Rights and Royalties Mgmt. by Vistex, in partnership with our business stakeholders, business solutions and enterprise engineering teams. This role will also be responsible for managing various other products supporting our Studio and Media business like (Participations and Residuals (PARIS), Ad Sales Billing and Invoicing, application for programming cost amortization etc.)

    The successful candidate will perform work that is highly complex, varied in nature, and span multiple functional areas, though being focused in one or two. This individual will also seek to ensure the optimum utilization of existing system platforms and their integration while considering and / or facilitating the justified deployment of new technologies in response to business requirements. As a VP, this role will be responsible for leading large technology modernization initiatives, designing complex SAP S/4 solutions and guiding configuration and functional design while leading a team of functional team members, Sis/external vendors and managed services providers within their portfolio.

    Primary responsibilities will include:

    • This is a senior leadership role within NBCUniversal. The right leader is a self-starter and can drive end-to-end strategy through execution. This includes developing a sound technology strategy to support business goals, developing artifacts in support of the strategy (business cases, presentations etc.), driving buy in from all stakeholders to greenlight their approach, developing a team of internal and external team members to then execute against that strategy.
    • Lead NBCU Studio Finance transformation to S/4 Rights & Royalties Mgmt. by Vistex
    • Collaborate with NBCU S/4 transformation initiative to manage interdependencies between S/4 Core and Studio Finance transformation
    • Develop strong relationships with senior business stakeholders (VP/SVP/EVP+), and work cohesively with them to drive their vision.
    • Develop long range plans inclusive of budget, organizational design and technology roadmaps that support our strategic goals in partnership with Business stakeholders, Business Solutions and Enterprise Engineering partners
    • Advise on solution roadmap for SAP projects considering current footprint
    • Manage a large internal and SI team, with being the single point of contact for all escalation resolution within O&T
    • Design and architect SAP solutions related to Media related business process including Royalties, Participations, Residuals, Content and Production accounting, Ultimates and Amortization, Media product Master etc.
    • Understand the content supply chain and architect SAP solutions that integrate well within non SAP solutions across the entire supply chain, for a variety of Business Units (Film, Studios, Streaming etc.)
    • Lead a team of 10-15 team members, along with managing a team of external vendors

    Required Qualifications:

    • 15+ years of progressive SAP hands on experience in a consultative and/or IT capacity with at least 6 SAP project implementations of high complexity, large scale, and global user base
    • A proven track record of working with SAP IS-M, S/4 Rights and Royalties Mgmt. (Vistex), SAP BRIM, Media Product Master, and knowledge of Media related business processes is a must
    • Prior experience with leading large SAP Finance/Studio Finance transformation initiatives along with demonstrable experience working on large S/4 HANA transformations
    • Ability to translate complex strategies and roadmaps into executive friendly content and messaging
    • Experience with direct management of a team is a must with a proven ability to mentor team members in relevant technologies and implementation architecture

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, S/4 Rights and Royalties Mgmt. by Vistex, Studio and Media business processes
    • PMI Certified+
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Teams)
    • Ability to work in a matrixed environment
    • Mentor team members in relevant technologies and implementation architecture
    • Familiarity and comfort in working in an outsourced module with onshore and offshore resources
    • Strong/effective influencing skills and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to manage budget and other organizational tasks
    • Willingness to work off business hours and weekends as needed in a demanding environment
    • Certified Public Account or Equivalent
    • Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting or Business from an accredited institution or equivalent

    Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
