As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Business Development to lead strategic initiatives, drive occupancy growth, and foster meaningful relationships within our communities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Leadership: Design and implement business development strategies to boost census and occupancy across all communities.
    • Relationship Management: Build strong partnerships with hospital executives, health systems, accountable care organizations, and other key referral sources.
    • Sales & Marketing Training: Oversee the development and delivery of sales and marketing training programs for facility-level and corporate teams, ensuring they are equipped with effective strategies.
    • Coaching & Mentoring: Provide leadership and mentorship to community-level teams, driving accountability and enhancing sales performance.
    • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities and align strategies accordingly.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that business development efforts align with organizational goals and each community's unique needs
    • Travel: 60% + including overnight travel- willingness to travel frequently to communities to assess needs, offer support, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Data Driven: Monitors and manages to daily KPIs.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the senior living or skilled nursing sector. Proven track record of successfully increasing occupancy within the SNF segment (both urban and rural). Senior housing experience is a plus.
    • Strategic Focus: Proven success in building relationships and programming (in response to market demand) to increase occupancy.
    • Social Media Proficiency: Experience in developing and executing a social media sales and marketing plan.
    • Training Expertise: Experience in creating and delivering sales and marketing training programs at both facility and corporate levels.
    • Established Network: A well-developed network of hospital executives, health systems, accountable care organizations, and other key referral sources. Brings credibility that results in securing high level meetings with executives in new markets.
    • Leadership Ability: Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and driving performance.

    Education:

    • Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field.
    • Preferred: Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent).

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to travel frequently, including overnight trips as necessary.
    • Capability to work effectively in a remote environment while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with team members.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds as needed for training materials or equipment.
    • Prolonged sitting, standing, and walking periods during site visits and assessments.
    • 60% travel required
