Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, sales, or hotel administration.
- Ten years of progressive experience and proven track record in hotel management, food & beverage operations, or related field.
- Previous national hospitality brand experience overseeing multiple quality, service, and pricing segments.
- Ability to build and foster a collaborative and cohesive culture.
- Development experience in the designing and opening of new hotels.
- Diverse business experience with significant administrative responsibilities in a major corporation with multiple units.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
- Drive for quality, efficiency, and innovation.
- Desire to solve complex challenges.
- Ability to travel frequently for visits to Boyd properties, conferences, and strategic meetings.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with ability to adjust presentation to appropriate audience as required.
- Excellent analytic, decision making, and problem solving skills to assess and improve operational strategies.
- Familiarity with and use of hotel business intelligence tools and software.
- Ability to handle multiple projects with concurrent aggressive deadlines.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
- Experience with change management, including developing and implementing solutions requiring comprehensive transformations of operational practices.
