    Job Description

    Ideally located within a commutable distance to our Global Headquarters located in Perrysburg, OH (Tues/Wed/Thur in office required)

    We are seeking a strategic and dynamic leader to join our team as the Vice President of Global Business Services (GBS). In this role, you will oversee and manage our shared services functions, including finance, human resources, and procurement. Your mission will be to drive efficiency, standardize processes, and ensure high-quality service delivery across the organization through strategic partnerships.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement the strategic vision for the shared services organization.
    • Lead and manage shared services teams to align with organizational goals.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
    • Optimize budgets, resources, and vendor relationships for cost efficiency.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
    • Act as the primary contact for strategic partners and resolve escalations.
    • Lead the Global Process Owners (GPO) network and manage high-performing teams.
    • Ensure efficient, consistent, and customer-focused service delivery.
    • Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Provide regular performance reports to senior leadership.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and streamline operations.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business objectives.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and standards.
    • Proactively manage risks related to shared services operations.
    • Oversee internal GBS centers in Poznan, Poland, and Medellin, Colombia.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    • 10+ years of experience in GBS or multi-functional shared services operations management.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, global team environment.
    • Experience in a global, multi-currency environment is preferred.

    Reporting Relationships: This position reports to the Chief Administrative Officer and works closely with GBS site leaders and the GPO network.

    Travel Requirements:

    • Travel: Less than 20%

    What we offer at O-I:

    Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $210 K & $260 K. Additionally, this position will have the opportunity to earn 30% STI and 35% LTI. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
