    Overview

    The Vice President of Marketing will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing the local marketing strategy to support our franchise fitness brand. This leadership role involves overseeing marketing initiatives across multiple locations, leveraging advanced analytics and technical skills to drive data-driven decision-making, and implementing innovative testing methodologies to enhance customer lifetime value. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both digital and traditional marketing tactics, experience in leading teams within a franchise or multi-location environment, and a strong background in business analytics and marketing technology.

    Responsibilities

    Strategic Marketing Leadership

    Develop and execute a comprehensive, data-driven marketing strategy to grow the brand locally and increase revenue across all locations

    Implement advanced analytics and testing methodologies to optimize marketing campaigns and improve customer lifetime value

    Align marketing plans with corporate franchise guidelines while ensuring local adaptation and brand consistency

    Drive strategic initiatives to achieve key performance metrics, including lead generation, membership acquisition, and retention

    Data-Driven Marketing Optimization

    Utilize business analytics tools and techniques to analyze customer behavior, segment audiences, and personalize marketing efforts

    Design and execute A/B tests and multivariate experiments to optimize marketing messages, channels, and lead generation techniques

    Develop predictive models to identify high-value customers and improve targeting strategies

    Implement marketing automation systems to enhance customer journey mapping and increase engagement

    Digital Marketing and Technology Integration

    Oversee digital marketing campaigns across paid and owned media, leveraging marketing technology stacks for maximum efficiency

    Optimize digital channels using advanced analytics, focusing on driving new memberships and improving member retention

    Implement and manage customer relationship management (CRM) systems to enhance data collection and utilization

    Stay current with emerging marketing technologies and integrate them into the marketing strategy as appropriate

    Performance Tracking and Reporting

    Establish comprehensive KPIs for marketing campaigns, incorporating metrics for customer lifetime value and long-term engagement

    Develop dashboards and reporting systems to provide real-time insights on marketing performance and ROI

    Conduct in-depth analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in marketing efforts

    Present data-driven recommendations to leadership for strategic decision-making

    Team Leadership and Collaboration

    Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous learning

    Collaborate with sales, operations, and franchise support teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives

    Provide training and support to local teams and franchisees on advanced marketing techniques and analytics tools

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Analytics, or related field; MBA preferred

    7+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a multi-location or franchisee environment

    Proven track record of driving successful, data-driven marketing campaigns in the fitness, health, or wellness industry

    Strong expertise in business analytics, including proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, SQL, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

    Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and A/B testing tools

    Demonstrated ability to use data analytics to improve customer lifetime value and marketing ROI

    Strong technical skills, including familiarity with marketing technology stacks and integrations

    Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple initiatives, and meet deadlines

    Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments

    Passion for fitness and wellness, with a commitment to staying current on industry trends and innovations

    Reporting Structure

    Reports directly to the CEO and President

    Works in conjunction with the Fit Fusion executive team
