    We are seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President of Marketing to spearhead our marketing initiatives and drive brand growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consumer packaged goods and a proven track record in both brand and growth marketing. They will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies across all channels, positioning our brand effectively, and leading efforts to acquire new customers. While fluency in English is essential, proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable. Experience with Hispanic market segments is also highly desirable.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop Comprehensive Marketing Strategies: Formulate and implement marketing plans that align with company objectives and drive brand growth across all channels (digital, retail, wholesale, etc.).
    • Brand Positioning: Craft compelling brand narratives and positioning strategies that resonate with target audiences and differentiate us in the marketplace. Use market research to adjust positioning as the market dictates.
    • Growth Marketing: Design and execute customer acquisition and retention strategies to expand our customer base and increase market share.

    Omnichannel Management:

    • Oversee Multichannel Campaigns: Lead marketing initiatives across various sales channels, ensuring a cohesive and integrated customer experience.
    • Digital Transformation: Leverage digital platforms and technologies to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
    • Retail and Wholesale Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams to optimize in-store promotions and partnerships.

    Data-Driven Decision Making:

    • Market Analysis: Utilize customer insights and market data to inform marketing strategies and adjust positioning over time.
    • Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs and use analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
    • Trend Monitoring: Stay abreast of industry trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive activities to identify opportunities and threats.

    Team Leadership and Development:

    • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product development, sales, and other departments to ensure alignment and synergy across all initiatives.
    • Talent Development: Identify skill gaps and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities.

    Multicultural Marketing:

    • Target Hispanic Consumers: Develop and execute marketing strategies aimed at Hispanic markets, utilizing cultural insights.
    • Bilingual Communications (Preferred): While not required, proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable for engaging effectively with Spanish-speaking markets.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
    • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
    • Marketing Expertise: Deep understanding of brand marketing, growth marketing, and omnichannel strategies.
    • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
    • Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis, market research, and using insights to drive strategy.
    • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.
    • Cultural Competency: Experience targeting Hispanic consumers and a strong understanding of multicultural marketing practices.
    • Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically and strategically to solve complex business challenges.
    • Results-Oriented: Demonstrated success in driving growth and achieving measurable results.
