Job Description
The Vice President of Nursing – Education Programs, will foster and maintain high-level relationships with university leadership, healthcare executives, national education bodies, and nursing associations to drive collaboration and ensure successful adoption of changes and curriculum. This role will Provide leadership in the development of faculty and staff, ensuring access to resources, training, and professional development to effectively implement changes and integrate the new curriculum. Drive innovation by championing the integration of advanced teaching methods, technologies, and evidence-based practices across nursing education and clinical settings. Provide executive oversight of the program’s implementation and success, ensuring the achievement of key performance indicators and addressing challenges through data-driven adjustments.
- Facilitate all Academic programs understand compliance benchmarks and timelines, works closely with the organization to ensure all deliverable are meet.
- Overseeing the analysis and staffing for all Academic operations impacting the student outcomes.
- Overseeing detailed plans that are supportive of overall actions of all Academic teams to ensure maximal performance with accreditations.
- Serving as the point of contact for academic operations between the programs and regulators. Serve as the primary executive liaison between university leadership, hospital administrators, and external stakeholders, advocating for the nursing program and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Leading and partnering with the operations to implement and maintain oversight relationship with all external clinical program stakeholders.
- Capturing and communicating with internal leadership and clinical/learning initiatives to ensure the Academic programs maintains a cohesive strategy appropriate to our market competitiveness and growth goals.
- Identifying compliance processes, such as monitoring report owners and the timely quality review of these reports and working with Provost & Chief Academic Officer and Compliance to ensure overall compliance of processes.
- Enable Unitek Learning Academic programs to achieve growth targets by measuring progress against key financial metrics, identifying root cause of variance, and partnering with Unitek finance leaders to develop countermeasures.
- Create, build and own forecasting and planning process by gathering and compiling various data sets, analyzing trends, analyzing variances and current performance metrics and partnering Unitek finance leaders
- Drive the annual budgeting processes and quarterly forecasting activities in conjunction with program leadership and their teams.
- Analyze variances to budget/forecast for revenue/margin as well as operating expenses and analyze financial KPIs, uncover trends, and assess business risks and opportunities to provide recommendations to senior leaders.
- Create and standardize monthly performance and forecast deliverables and facilitate business reviews with operational leaders, board meeting presentations, and other financial review presentations/deliverables.
- Performs clinical site evaluations that include a thorough assessment on the ability of the agency to provide clinical experiences that meet the objectives for application of theory and clinical course objectives. The assessment includes an analysis of risk, hazards and safety of all students, as well as ensuring adequate staffing to handle clinical objectives
Salary Range: $155k-185k DOE
