About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Vice President of Sales to lead our client's sales efforts and drive significant growth. This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in shaping the future of the company. The ideal candidate will be a proven sales warrior with a track record of success in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the sales process, from lead generation and qualification to closing deals and account management.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry partners.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities to expand the company's customer base and revenue streams.
- Lead a team of 3-4 direct reports, including Product Engineering, Estimating, and Sales.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to the sales team to improve their performance and develop their skills.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.
- Utilize sales tools to track progress, forecast sales, and manage customer relationships.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Travel 3 days per week, with the potential for heavier travel based on location.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 12+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a sales leadership role.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing revenue.
- Experience in the metal fabrication or manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and CRM software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in organizational transformation and change management.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.
Salary :
$145k+ based on experience
