- Salary Range: Min: $152,734 Midpoint: $190,923-$200k (15 years)

Job Summary
- VP of Surgical Services acts as the facility lead for strategic growth in surgical services.
- Accountable for the effective, efficient, and compliant operation of surgical services.
- Responsible for planning, directing, monitoring, coordinating, evaluating and continually improving the operation of surgical services.
- Establish and maintain medical staff relationships; identify new business opportunities and focus on implementation of the strategic plan related to growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement surgical services growth strategies
- Manage all operational projects related to the scope
- Manage all day-to-day operations of the service including managing direct reports, expense analysis, and identifying ways to increase profitability and decrease costs
- Develop and implement process improvement efforts to improve the overall function and efficiency of the service
- Manages variation in clinical practice to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and cost
- Ensures a culture of accountability and transparency in the provision of care.
- Effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts promptly
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones appropriately
- Develop and communicate progress
- Facilitate presentations as required
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- RN or CST experience required
- Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in surgical services required
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse or certified surgical technologist in the state in which he or she practices, by law and regulation required
- Certified Nursing Operating Room (CNOR) preferred
- Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM) preferred
