We are currently seeking a Vice President of Transportation Operations to lead and drive the growth of our Birmingham, AL location, overseeing all aspects of our taxi business operations.

Key Responsibilities of the Vice President of Transportation Operations:
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive engagement and outreach.
- Lead the recruitment, training, and mentoring of location staff and independent contractor drivers, ensuring a focus on recruitment, retention, and performance.
- Foster effective communication between location staff and support teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance to ensure fleet availability meets service demands and operational needs.
- Manage safety and training programs to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and contract obligations.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure service levels meet or exceed expectations.
- Conduct regular audits of departmental processes and implement improvements as needed.
- Monitor key operational metrics daily, weekly, and monthly to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Continuously assess location performance, implement action plans, and develop strategies to achieve financial, safety, and operational goals.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure consistent and efficient operations across the location.
- Participate in labor and employee relations activities to create a positive and productive workplace environment.
- Provide valuable insights to support contract renewals and business expansion.
- Develop and manage the location’s annual budget, ensuring financial goals are achieved.
Qualifications for the Vice President of Transportation Operations:
- 5-10 years of experience in Operations Management, including leadership and P&L responsibility.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead teams.
- A commitment to team development and mentorship to drive performance and engagement.
- Collaborative and results-driven leadership approach.
- Proven ability to drive operational success and achieve business objectives.
