    The Father’s House

    As the Film team, we believe in the church's mission statement that “The Father’s House exists so that people far from God can find life in Christ.” We get to help make this a reality for people that never have or may never step foot in the building.

    Purpose and Summary:

    The Videographer captures, edits, and produces a variety of weekly videos such as announcements, sermon bumpers, testimonials, and informative videos as needed each week.

    Participating in creative meetings for events as needed.

    Qualifications (at time of hire):

    Previous knowledge of Premiere Pro and other editing software.

    General knowledge of film, acting, and production.

    Basic audio recording knowledge (for video).

    Flexibility of time.

    Must be a member of The Father's House.

    Reporting Relationships:

    Reports directly to Film Manager.

    No supervisory responsibilities.

    Responsibilities:

    Duties Include:

    Supporting the production, editing, and viewing of all videos.

    Filming for The Father’s House, including on set and on location.

    Guide talent (anyone in front of the camera) for filming and recording.

    Attends weekly meetings and participates in meetings as assigned.

    Performs other duties as assigned by the Film Manager.

    Setting up and tearing down equipment for film shoots.

    Qualities:

    Hard worker. It is being able to focus for long periods.

    Ability to connect with people and help them to feel comfortable in front of the camera.

    Must be able to lift film gear that can weigh up to 30 pounds safely.

    Also must be willing to learn and take direction from others.

    This person should be someone that values excellence.

    Training and Feedback:

    We believe in training and value the constant growth of our team.

    Training led by the Film Manager will be sent out regularly.

    1-on-1 and whole team meetings focused on growing skills in the craft and leadership development will occur regularly.

    Performance evaluations will happen quarterly.
