Vinyl & Sign Production/Installation - Wrap Installer In Training This position is not a graphic design position. This is a hands-on, assembly position. This position is responsible for preparing substrates/media and producing all graphic/signage jobs according to work order specifications within the stated timeline. In addition, this team member is responsible for specified graphic/signage installations at the client’s site. This person will also be responsible for specified sign order deliveries. Additionally, the right candidate will assist with on-site signage inspection and sign measuring tasks. This position reports directly to the Production Manager. After a few months of proven work ethic and consistent accuracy, the right candidate will begin training for vehicle wrap installations as well. Previous carpentry, construction, or handyman experience is a plus. Responsibilities: • Assemble large-scale graphic products with precision and care • Operate large-format printing and finishing equipment • Regularly inspect, maintain, and repair equipment to ensure proper functioning • Travel, using company vehicle, throughout the Kansas City metro to perform installations/deliver projects This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed. Qualifications: • Current driver’s license and clean driving record • Proficiency in using power tools (drills, saws, impact drivers, etc.) • Must be able to climb a ladder and work at various heights (up to 20ft above ground) • Professional, upbeat, positive attitude • Sharp attention to detail • Keen multi-tasking abilities • Ability to work independently and as an integral team member • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse customer/prospect base The following are desired but not mandatory: • Previous experience in the sign/graphic industry • Familiarity with various vinyl application techniques • Knowledge of sign / graphic industry substrates, media, and products • Wide-format printer, vinyl plotter, laminator, and/or Onyx RIP operation • Color management concepts and procedures • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software (Illustrator and Photoshop specifically) Compensation: $16 - $22 hourly
