    The Opportunity:

    The VR Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing promotional strategy for all OptimaEd business to consumer [B2C] virtual reality products including: Optima Academy Online, Consumer VR Products, VR Explorations, Step Up for Students and ESA partnerships after relationships are established. This specialist will drive strategies on all mediums for VR products including but not limited to: website management, social media, print media, paid advertisements, content creation, lead generation and SEO initiatives.

    Essential Duties:

    • Lead content creation efforts for Optima Academy Online, Microschool initiatives, VR Explorations, Step Up for Students and Consumer VR Products.
    • Manage social media presence for all VR products
    • Create goals and objectives to approach target audiences through appropriate marketing channels to promote VR products
    • Lead website maintenance and digital strategy for B2C VR products
    • Create case studies, testimonials and brochures for B2C VR products
    • Identify strategic promotional partners for VR products
    • Collaborate with sales, marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts.
    • Conduct market research to identify target audience trends, competitor offerings and demographic data
    • Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Marketing.

    Job Requirements:

    • A bachelor’s degree preferred
    • 3-5 years of experience preferred
    • Experience with HubSpot CRM preferred
    • Thorough understanding of marketing elements - including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO, social media management, advertising, and market research
    • Must be strategic, possess a strong attention to detail and have exceptional organization
    • This person must have the ability to work within deadlines and manage multiple tasks while portraying a positive attitude

    Working Conditions:

    • Fast-paced environment.
    • Remote work with frequent local travel for events and tours

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

    • This is a full-time position; however, this position can seasonally require longer hours and occasional weekend work.
