Job Summary

****We are seeking an experienced Virtual Billing Cycle Specialist to oversee and optimize revenue cycle management processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing insurance claims, client collections, and reimbursement processes within a Recovery and/or Mental Health treatment setting. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful care by ensuring the financial health of our operations

****Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Cycle Management:

• Manage all aspects of the billing cycle, including claims submission, follow-up, and reimbursement.
• Handle client collections empathetically, negotiating payment plans as needed.

Insurance Processes:

• Process in-network insurance claims with a deep understanding of payer policies and procedures.
• Conduct utilization reviews and secure authorizations to maximize reimbursements.

Financial Reporting:

• Use Excel and other tools to analyze financial data, monitor revenue, and create detailed reports.
• Identify trends or inefficiencies in the billing cycle and propose actionable solutions.

EHR Management:

• Maintain accurate records in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, preferably KIPU.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure alignment between treatment documentation and billing practices.
• Act as a liaison between the organization and clients or insurance payers to resolve issues effectively.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in revenue cycle management, specifically in SUD and mental health treatment settings.

• Proficient in EHR systems, ideally KIPU.

• Advanced knowledge of Excel and data analysis tools.

• Comprehensive understanding of insurance claims processes, payer contract negotiation, and authorization protocols.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive client discussions with empathy.
