    Job Description

    The Customer Support Specialist position acts as the primary interface providing support services to PostalMate customers by quickly analyzing and optimally resolving any challenges they have using our software products.

    PostalMate is a Windows-based retail shipping software that is used in thousands of pack and ship centers across the United States. Our software platform gives pack and ship centers a powerful yet easy to use multi-carrier shipping solution, Point-of-Sale, and Mailbox Management system.     RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Be the voice of PostalMate – You will interact on the phone, receiving inbound calls coming from the customer and guiding them through any problems or answering questions they may have.
    • Provide a positive and respectful client experience while assisting customers to resolve software issues and to provide insight, and training.
    • Enter all calls into the ticketing system and track progress on all issues to ensure timely response and resolution.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Strong customer service skills with professional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Have a heightened attention to detail, being able to anticipate the customer’s needs.
    • Strong learning agility; the ability and willingness to learn new things and then apply that learning to perform successfully in the role.
    • Display critical thinking and ability to make appropriate judgment calls where needed.
    • You can navigate multiple systems, learn new tools, and effectively troubleshoot.
    • Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not mandatory.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Understanding of Microsoft Office, business software with Customer Service experience.
    • Background in one or multiple of the following: inbound contact center, product or technical support, retail parcel and shipping industry.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
