  • Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

    P3 Delivery is looking for a Visual Communication Specialist to provide visual communication services for the information technology division of a large Federal Government agency.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Research, analyze, and customize visual materials
    • Build and edit visual materials for slide presentation
    • Maintain all visual assets in a graphic material library
    • Remediate and maintain content on the SharePoint Sites
    • Develops and builds intranet pages on emerging technology
    • Develop and maintain multimedia communication platforms ensuring information and visual designs follow government web standards and style guides
    • Ensure 508 compliance
    • Deploy and maintain staff and customer portals

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
    • At least three (3) years of experience as a multimedia or broadcast journalist, or in marketing communications, graphic design, or a related field.
    • Demonstrated ability to write and produce engaging content for TV, radio, and/or online platforms.
    • Copywriting and Editing: Proven experience in copywriting and editing, with excellent written communication skills.
    • Experience creating visual content for various platforms, including social media, websites, internal communications, and marketing materials.
    • Web Design and Content Production (a plus)
    • Familiarity with web design principles and content production.
    • Solid understanding of project management principles.
    • Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.

    Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of MS Office, photo and video-editing software (such as Adobe Creative Suite), and other relevant tools.

    Salary : $50,000 – $70,000 per year

    Place of Performance: Telework

    Work Classification: Full-time – eight (8) hour productive workday

    Start Date: December 2, 2024
