Job Schedule:** Full Time Monday- Friday 7:45am- 5pm. Start Date September 2024. **
Job Type:** Contractor. **
Pay Rate:** $65,000 per annum.
Full Description:
VitalCheck Wellness is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant with phlebotomy experience to work in an outpatient clinic at a global wealth-management firm located in San Francisco, CA 94105. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in working with a new model wellness clinic where you will have the ability to be part of the process of building something new.
Responsibilities:
Discuss and consult health history, diagnosis, and needs with patients.
Follow-up care coordination and scheduling appointments/referrals.
Initial point of contact for patients.
Educate patient on necessary steps for follow up care.
Referral management including calling insurance companies to confirm coverage.
Input and upload results data into the computer.
Provide excellent customer service.
Maintain a professional appearance.
Effectively communicate with all employees presenting to the clinic.
Creation of engagement activities for patients and event planning.
Taking initiative to create spreadsheets, troubleshoot problems, and planning events.
Collect vital signs.
Perform/collect specimens accurately (phlebotomy, urine, etc.).
