    Job Summary: As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN). Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring patient health, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all residents or patients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.

    Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.

    Assist with mobility and transfers, using appropriate techniques and equipment.

    Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.

    Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and observations.

    Ensure patient safety by adhering to infection control protocols and reporting any changes in patient condition.

    Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to implement and follow care plans.

    Respond to patient calls and needs promptly and with empathy.

    Assist with basic medical procedures and administer medications as directed by the RN or LPN.

    Qualifications:

    Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of New Jersey.

    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Proven experience as a CNA in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

    Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of others.

    Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.

    Ability to lift, move, and assist patients as required.

    Working Conditions:

    May require standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.

    Ability to lift and/or move patients, with assistance if necessary.

    Exposure to potential hazards typical in a healthcare environment, with appropriate safety measures in place.
