    REMOTE CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST - MUST BE LOCATED IN UTAH

Our team is obsessed with our proven customer service experience to ensure protection and peace of mind to all customers and homeowners nationwide. THIS JOB APPLICATION IS FOR MULTIPLE CUSTOMER SERVICE POSITIONS.

    POSITION DETAILS:

    • Start Date: Ongoing
    • Paid Training: Mandatory 2 weeks training, Monday - Friday
    • Full-Time and Part-Time flexible schedules – must be able to commit to your schedule for 90 days
    • Weekends off available
    • Compensation: $13.00-$18.00/HR DOE + performance bonuses

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Answer inbound calls from Vivint Smart Home customers & employees
    • Understand our home automation/alarm system well enough to effectively help customers resolve concerns and extend services.
    • Work with our customer billing system to receive account payments, correct errors, and make necessary adjustments to customer contract obligations.
    • Be an advocate for our customers, creating peace of mind
    • Provide personalized solutions
    • Accurately document and update records in required systems
    • Generate customer interest by outlining the value in the services & products we offer
    • Build customer loyalty through exceptional customer service

    WORK-FROM-HOME EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Must be able to provide your own equipment. This entails:
    • A computer (laptop or desktop) that runs Windows 10 (PLEASE NOTE OUR REMOTE-BASED SOFTWARE DOES NOT WORK WITH APPLE/MAC PRODUCTS, TABLETS, OR CHROMEBOOKS.)
    • Computer must have at least 4 GB RAM although 8 GB is preferred.
    • A USB wired headset equipped with a microphone.
    • Must have reliable internet: 10 MBPS download and 5 MBPS upload speeds

    WORK-FROM-HOME REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Be able to type a minimum of 35 wpm
    • Have a quiet and private location from which to work
    • UNDERSTAND YOU CANNOT BE THE PRIMARY CAREGIVER FOR ANY CHILDREN, OTHER PEOPLE, OR PETS WHILE ON SHIFT.
