Are you passionate about music and love sharing your knowledge with others? Soundcheck Rock Academy is looking for (2) piano/keyboard and voice instructors to join our team! Here's a sneak peek at what the role entails:

• Providing private or semi-private music instruction to students on various instruments
• Coaching small rock/pop ensembles for live performances and recordings
• Assisting with music school administrative tasks as needed

To rock this role, here's what you'll need:

• Strong understanding of music concepts and the ability to communicate them effectively
• Proficiency in playing a musical instrument (multi-instrumentalists are a plus!)
• Basic sound equipment operation skills
• Willingness to receive and apply constructive feedback on teaching techniques
• Advanced knowledge of music theory and technique related to primary instruments
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and management
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle changes with ease
• A background check clearance

Qualifications:

• Teaching certificate and/or degrees in music are preferred
• Enrollment in a music degree program is also considered
• Experience in the subject area may be substituted for degree or licensure
• Proficient English speaking and writing skills (additional languages are a plus)

Physical Demands:

• Ability to move and handle music equipment
• Physical agility to navigate the music studio and event venues

Work Environment:

• Basic office environment
• Music Studio
• Music event venues in the metro area around the school
