    Job Description

    Working under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, the Volunteer Coordinator/Admin
    Support will maintain supplies/inventory by regularly checking stock to determine inventory
    level to anticipate needed supplies and placing and expediting orders. Other duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Ensure operation of equipment (in triage suites, professional kitchen, computer lab, hair salon, food pantry, and boutique) by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
    • Work closely with the program coordinator to ensure staff training requirements are documented/tracked.
    • Aide the program coordinator with required monthly program reports.
    • Develop, report, and post all activities and maintain sign-in sheets for all residents.
    • Coordinate volunteers and conduct community outreach to engage vendors to provide supportive services onsite and offsite.
    • Manage monthly activities calendar for the site and ensure that announcements of events are distributed to residents.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and a variety of data systems.
    • Maintain suggestion box and incorporate resident suggestions as funding is available.
    • Document monthly participation and report trends to Case Management staff and Lead.
    • Maintains confidentiality of records relating to consumer treatment.
    • Ensures requirements are met for all funding sources, and program compliance with Federal agencies, DC regulations, and DC Rulemaking.
    • Collects the raw data necessary to evaluate each program’s effectiveness, efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction.
    • Ensures all programs develop and implement integrated plans in support of residents. Tracks and reports on progress of goals regularly.
    • Complies with all required documentation and data collection in support of the program’s implementation and evaluation strategy.
    • Works with other members of the management team to help ensure successful communication and coordination among all MBI Health Services, LLC programs and strategic plans.
    • Supports staff in working directly with residents, including providing programmatic support as needed.
    • Actively networks and builds relationships with other organizations/partners providing employment, housing, training, education, legal services, child care, substance, etc.
    • Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Must have a minimum of an Associate Degree in a human services field of study or must have a minimum of two (2) years of related professional experience with the homeless population working with community-based organizations.
    • Demonstrate the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams at all levels, both internally and externally.
