In furtherance of the Mission of WARM, the primary responsibility of this position is to recruit, train, and manage volunteers while ensuring a positive and engaging experience for all who serve. The Volunteer Coordinator will implement structured programs that align volunteer efforts with WARM’s organizational needs, ensuring that volunteers are well-prepared, supported, and retained to maximize their impact. This is a part-time position working 20 hours a week Monday- Friday. Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain the volunteer database, ensuring accurate tracking of hours, service history, and reporting metrics. • Develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies to attract a diverse and committed volunteer base. • Oversee the screening, onboarding, and placement of volunteers to ensure alignment with organizational needs. • Conduct volunteer orientations, facility tours, and training sessions to prepare volunteers for their roles. • Maintain and update volunteer job descriptions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various roles. • Maintain organized volunteer records, documentation, and reports. • Build and maintain relationships with community groups, corporate partners, and faith-based organizations to expand volunteer participation. • Coordinate with other WARM departments to ensure volunteers effectively support operations and events. Qualifications: • Experience in volunteer management, nonprofit coordination, or HR-related fields (preferred but not required). • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask effectively. • Proficiency in database management, reporting, and volunteer scheduling systems. • Ability to build positive relationships with volunteers, staff, and community partners. • Customer service-oriented, collaborative mindset with excellent problem-solving skills. Compensation: $16 - $18 hourly
