    About Us: It's Not Over, LLC is dedicated to providing support and resources to individuals facing challenges, such as substance abuse disorder and addiction. Our team plays a critical role in fostering a compassionate, supportive environment for those in need.

    Position Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as unpaid Volunteer Peer Support Specialists. In this role, you will provide empathetic and non-judgmental support to individuals experiencing similar challenges. As a Peer Support Specialist, you will help others by sharing your personal experience and offering encouragement, advice, and resources to help them navigate their journey toward recovery and wellness.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Offer one-on-one emotional support and active listening to individuals in need

    Share personal experiences and coping strategies to encourage hope and empowerment

    Provide information about community resources and support services

    Foster a safe, confidential, and supportive environment for individuals

    Maintain boundaries and self-care while offering peer support

    Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to improve your skills

    Qualifications:

    Lived experience with [specific challenge, e.g., mental health, addiction, etc.] and a strong desire to help others

    Compassionate, empathetic, and a good listener

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries

    Previous volunteer or peer support experience is a plus (but not required)
