The State of Wisconsin DOT is looking for a Geospatial Architect/Administrator.
Top Skills and Years of Experience:
1\. GIS: Geographic Information Systems Architecting and Administration (4+ years of experience)
\- Implementing, administering, and supporting organizational GIS servers, cloud infrastructure, organizational GIS database infrastructure, and GIS data content
\- ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online - Administering, publishing, and supporting content, web maps, applications, workflows, and data in GIS.
2\. GIS: Architecting and Administration (3+ years of experience)
\- ArcGIS, Roads & Highways – Experience working with data structures, algorithms, topology, networking and linear reference systems and models.
\- ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Enterprise - Experience designing/architecting GIS web mapping applications that allow users to create and edit multiple feature classes (point, line, and polygon).
\- ArcGIS REST API - Experience designing and integrating web services in GIS web applications.
\- Mobile - Experience designing, architecting, and integrating web services utilized by GIS editing applications both internal and external (mobile).
3\. Databases (2+ years of experience)
\- Oracle 19c, ArcSDE, and Esri’s ArcGIS Spatial Database Engine (SDE)
4\. Application Development (1+ years of experience)
\- Experience designing/building and integrating GIS web applications, desktop application and geoprocessing tools (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Pro SDK for .NET, ArcGIS Maps SDK for .NET, ArcGIS API for JavaScript and Python)
\- Experience developing GIS web mapping applications using Java and related tools.
\- Safe Software’s FME Form, FME Flow or Esri’s Data Interoperability - Experience working with extract, transform, and load processes using tools related to spatial data.

\- Documenting requirements and design, documenting GIS content and fulfilling metadata requirements for spatial data, and requirements analysis

Interview Process: Microsoft Teams with Video On, 1 - 2 rounds
Remote or onsite? Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. On-site requirements determined by management. Current policy allows up to 5 remote days per week in the State of Wisconsin.
