The State of Wisconsin Dept of Bureau Computing is looking for a Certified Project Manager IV/Sr.
Top Skills & Years of Experience:
• 10 or more years of IT project management experience with leadership responsibility
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
• PMP Certification optional
• Project management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is required. No certifications required if they have 10+ years of PM experience.
• Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in agile project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques.
Nice to Have:
• Excellent planning, organization, and project management skills in an Application Development Environment with the ability to prioritize and coordinate many different project tasks while setting appropriate goals and deadlines
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others to perform well while effectively influencing the actions and opinions of others

Additional details: This position resides in the Department's Bureau of Computing Services (BCS). Under the supervision of the Deputy IT Director, this position provides department-wide project management services for the development of primarily web-based systems in a highly complex, highly integrated environment across multiple platforms. This position serves as the Project Management Office team lead and Project Portfolio Manager. This is a management role with human resource management responsibilities (e.g., hiring and performance management). Manages one or more cross-functional projects of medium to high complexity. A more senior role, with responsibility for multiple large, complex projects with more significant impact to the enterprise.
