MARKETING COORDINATOR

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY: WACO Kitchen is seeking a motivated and experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team at our new restaurant in Lakeland. This role serves as a communication liaison with the local community, airplane enthusiast, while promoting our new restaurant with farm to table style food! The right person with have a strong focus on marketing, with a creative, out-of-the-box approach, with high energy, motivated, enthusiastic, and passionate about growth and branding.

There is flexibility with the Marketing Coordinator to Part-time. Approx 8- 15 hours / week. Will work around other schedules. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Market in the local area to get our name out locally - door to door canvasing and fliers·

Maintain Social Media schedules f\or WACO Kitchen, which includes creating/posting content and responding to comments and messages

· Manage and respond to online reviews

· Source marketing & trade show materials

· Create and post content daily to all media channels

· Increase public awareness and following of Waco

· Assist in the development and implementation of brand image and strategy

· Assist in creating and writing content for quarterly newsletters and various email communications

· Update website content, including but not limited to seasonal menu offerings and open job positions

· Perform tours for guests on a limited basis

· Organize travel accommodations for sales tours and trade shows

· Drive company van to major trade shows to transport marketing materials

· Attend major trade shows to manage social media and other promotions

· Capture photos to show off the restaurant and Waco’s Company brand.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, PhotoShop, premiere, skillset helpful, but not required
• Skilled in Graphic Design, Photography, website building, social media management, photo editing, and copywriting.
• Proficient with social media, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English and be able to communicate effectively with customers, followers, and other employees
• Positive disposition, professional attitude, professional appearance
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and other required background checks
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Attendance: Regularly scheduled attendance required
• Physical: Lift up to 50lbs occasionally; tolerate standing & walking throughout the day

WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:

• Occasional travel may be required. Less than 20%
• May work outdoors, in weather as necessary
• May work near moving aircraft and machinery
• May work in a potentially noisy work environment
