Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a North Carolina licensed attorney with less than 3 years of experience to assist with personal injury and general litigation cases. This person should be able to speak to clients professionally, review case facts, investigate case allegations and generally vet each potential matter. Moreover, this person should be able to conduct professional consultations with clients as well as manage the cases through the various phases, including but not limited to litigation. There is an expectation that you be an active member of the local bar and participate in community functions as well as the bar association.
ROLE IN FIRM:
This position will use the job title “Attorney and Counselor at Law” for correspondence.
The position is full-time.
The position reports to the Managing Partner.
COMPENSATION:
Compensation will be competitive and should be expected to increase with experience and performance.
EDUCATION and LICENSURE:
Juris Doctorate
Licensed in good standing - North Carolina
LOCATION:
Durham, NC
EXPERIENCE:
Less than three (3) years of legal experience is preferred. This position will involve handling litigation cases. Please do not apply if you do not wish to litigate cases.
