    We are Walnut Grill, and we are expanding to the beautiful Ballantyne neighborhood of Charlotte and we are seeking to attract and build a team of exceptional hospitality professionals. We are looking for someone with a passion for food and strong time management abilities. Our restaurant is busy, and we need a competent and experienced prep cook who can ensure that our recipes are made precisely and consistently to our standard. You need to be a team player who can effectively communicate with other kitchen staff to keep things running efficiently. Always clean as you go. • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty. Qualifications: • Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers • Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic • Prior food service industry experience is highly desired • The ability to read and follow a recipe Compensation: $15 - $18 hourly
